October Workshop and World Café PDF Print E-mail
In this workshop series we'll learn and practice the truth-telling skills that lead to more rewarding personal connections and a more vibrant – and politically effective – community. The premise is that overcoming the things that keep us stuck personally is the key to overcoming our collective political "stuckness."

Participants will come away with tools enabling them to
  • Create open, compassionate relationships through authentic, honest communication.
  • Cast off outmoded power dynamics that keep us all stuck.
  • Use conflict and chaos as a source of creative personal and political transformation.
  • Feel confident expressing personal values and political opinions.
  • Take a leadership role in community politics.
  • Transform despair and powerlessness into action.
In addition, we will have the modest goal of producing a World Café on the topic of Iran. This will have the dual purpose of creating more public awareness about the planned attack on Iran, and allowing us to practice our political skills in a meaningful way.

If you want to be the change you'd like to see in the world, come play!
